One privilege of being a driver on the MSU Formula Racing team is a free iRacing membership, sponsored by iRacing themselves! This past weekend, a few of our drivers thought it would be fun to participate in the 2020 iRacing 24-Hours of Daytona. So, they did just that, and they ended up doing pretty well!
The green flag dropped at 8AM Saturday with the drivers starting in 17th position in the DPi class. Their car of choice: a Corvette Daytona Prototype, sporting a custom MSU FSAE livery designed by alumnus Mike Bergh (who also participated in the 24-hour race). At the end of the day, the team had progressed to 7th position. Awesome job!
