The MSU Formula Racing Team is proud to announce a 6th Place finish at the competition in Lincoln, Nebraska! The team took 3rd in Skidpad, and 4th in Endurance, out of the 80 teams that attended, with many exciting and nerve-racking moments along the way.
When we arrived in Lincoln on Tuesday, we had a major engine failure, which forced us to rebuild our second engine in the past 48 hours. We missed the first day of competition to work on the disassembly of the powertrain system. After working all day and through the night, we were able to build a new engine and reassemble the powertrain system to attend the second day of competition. After which, we caught up and completed all tech events and static events.
Through thick and thin, the team pulled together and worked towards a goal that seemed to be impossible at the time. Thank you again to everyone and the volunteers for making this event possible and your continuous support!
