A team from the EMRG comprised of undergraduate students Anton Schlegel and Justin Opperman, graduate students Pratik Chatterjee and Billy Stevers, and advised by faculty member Dr. Jeffrey Nanzer has been selected as one of six final teams for the 2018 IEEE AP-S Student Design Contest.
The goal for teams was to "Design and build a radio system to sound a radio channel in real time and accurately determine the location of a hidden transmitter." By being selected as a finalest team, they are awarded a stipend to travel and present their work at the IEEE AP-S Symposium during July 2018 in Boston, MA, USA. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners will be announced at the conference.
