Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE)
To assist and encourage Hispanics to pursue careers in science, engineering, and mathematics.
SHPE was founded as a non-profit organization in 1974 by a small group of Hispanic engineers. They saw the need for an organization to assist and encourage Hispanics to pursue careers in science, engineering, and mathematics.
