Abstract

The World Development Indicators (WDI) presented here consists of 698 development indicators compiled and published by the World Bank. WDI is the ‘most current and accurate development data’ available at national, regional and global scales. A wide range of categories such as economy, health, environment, education, trade etc. are included in this database. Data periods for most of the indicators range from 1960 to 2010; however, some are available for shorter periods. The data used here comes from the World Bank.
