Time Series Analysis – FAOSTAT Indicators

The FAOSTAT data presented here consists of over 2,000 food and agricultural related indicators under 31 domains. The database consists of time-series and cross sectional data covering some 200 countries. The database covers wide range of agricultural indicators such as production, consumption, emission, investment etc. The data period for most of the indicators ranges from 1960 to 2010; however, some are available for shorter periods. The data used here comes from the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations.
