Virtual Workshop on Water Equity Access on February 3-4, 2022
The workshop was held virtually and the registration fee was free.
Scope:
This workshop served as a knowledge transfer for early career researchers and students and we invited local subject matter experts, entrepreneurs, government leaders, and development agencies to discuss their current and future activities related to water equity access. We will actively seek opportunities to further expand our research activities through collaborations and educational programs, which would highlight the role of gender in different levels for providing water in different regions of the world. The workshop had students (from Nigeria, Bangladesh, and the U.S.) as the audience. The mixed format of the workshop combined seminars and roundtable discussions. We had 115 participants registered in total through our webpage. This workshop inspired students and researchers and built their enthusiasm for science, engineering, and technology.

Although the Workshop was held virtually, there were audiences gathered at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
