Techmark is an international agricultural engineering company specializing in storage and production systems.  Techmark applies technologies that create positive returns for growers and industry.  Located in Lansing, Techmark was established in 1987 by own BE alumni Todd Forbush.  Specializing in produce storage and mushroom control systems, Techmark continues to grow and push the envelope of technology options to preserve food quality and protect food safety. Have you ever thought about tracking a potato from the field to a potato chip and all the bumps and bruises along the way?  Come to the BE Club meeting to learning about their impact recording device, tracking produce storage from a smart phone, managing mushroom systems, and more.  Nick Tipper is an Engineer with TechMark, Inc. and also a BE alumni.   Nick will present on the exciting innovations that Techmark provides, how the innovations have changed significantly in recently years, what the future possibilities are, and career opportunities in the food quality/safety area.
