2017 VEX Robotics champions in Michigan in 2017 are teams 98725B, Rochester Hills Christian School, 244A, Grandville Community Education and 69, Bloomfield Hills. They will represent Michigan at world games in Kentucky in April.

University Distinguished Professor Anil Jain and his team modified their human facial recognition system to create LemurFaceID, the first computer facial recognition system that correctly identifies more than 100 individual lemurs with 98.7 percent accuracy.
