Welcome to the Michigan State University College of Engineering, where we are engineering a healthier, safer, and more sustainable world.
Michigan State has been graduating Spartan Engineers since 1888, and we began granting master’s degrees in engineering in 1901. It is a legacy we honor and embrace as we undertake the tremendous transformational growth we are experiencing.
Our student numbers reflect our educational evolution. We have proudly welcomed 6,000 undergraduates and almost 1,000 graduate students -- bright, innovative, and industrious students who will make their mark on the college during their time at Michigan State.
We continue to focus on engaging more women in engineering and have done so by setting new enrollment benchmarks. We have more than 1,300 women undergraduates in the college, or around 22 percent of our undergraduate students. Our underrepresented minority population now comprises almost 20 percent of our undergraduates.
The Administrative Staff at the College of Engineering is here for any needs or concerns you may have. Follow this link to see our Administrative Staff page.
With a wide range of academic activities and actions, many committees and councils are necessary. Please see our Committees and Councils web page to view members, as well as reports from recent years.
See the Policies and Forms web page that includes the College of Engineering's Bylaws, Faculty Handbook and online applications for faculty and staff.
