Recipient of a highly competitive fellowship that is awarded to .5 % of graduate students in the university.  The fellowship covers full expenses of the graduate study for the year and a stipend.

3rd Prize, Society for Experimental Mechanics (SEM) International Student Paper The International student paper award is given to Top 3 graduate students annually. The applicant pool is around 50 students every year and around 20 are selected to present at the meeting.  The award is presented based on quality of research, presentation and depth of understanding of the subject presentedCompetition, SEM Annual Conference, June 2006.
