Mixed-signal
Prototyping and Testing
Term:
Spring 2005.
Instructor: Shantanu Chakrbartty.
Abstract
and Course Summary
This course will cover different techniques for
prototyping and evaluating mixed-signal circuits and systems.
Different measurement and benchmarking methods will be discussed and
will be used for evaluating
data converters and other analog/digital systems. The students will
design instrumentation circuits that
could be integrated on a device interface board. The goal of this
course is a complete design of a portable
mixed-signal testing system that can be interfaced with auxilliary
equipments and programmable through a
host computer.
