I am a Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. My general research interests are in the areas of solid state materials and devices. More specifically, in the past several years, my focus has been primarily on diamond, working with colleagues at MSU and in the Fraunhofer Center for Coatings and Laser Applications.  Also, I am presently serving as Graduate Coordinator for the department
