A note on Spartan Green: I spent more time than I should
have trying to find the correct Red-Green-Blue (R-G-B) combination to make
the official Spartan Green. I noticed that the big “S” from the
MSU web site looked too yellowish. Finally, after much consultation, I
determined that R-G-B should be set at 0-122-84. Of course, one can use
different color combinations to achieve Spartan Green, yet this works. Note
though, that different monitors and programs will interpret the R-G-B
combinations differently to add to the problem of what R-G-B setting to
use. Compare these: 0-122-84 ¨ Spartan Green ¨ 0-101-50 ¨ Spartan Green ¨ 29-122-91 ¨ Spartan Green ¨ 43-134-50 ¨ Spartan Green ¨ This last one was my attempt to match the big
“S” I found on the Want to Play Space Invaders?
