Back to the M.E. Mackay webpage I teach a course entitled Nanoscale Characterization where the student learns the basics
of: Optical Microscopy Scanning Electron Microscopy Transmission Electron Microscopy Dynamic Light Scattering Static Light Scattering Small Angle Neutron Scattering Small Angle X-Ray Scattering Atomic Force Microscopy The course notes are comprehensive and are almost 200
pages in length. The student should have a bachelor’s degree in science
and/or engineering. At the end of the course the student will be able to grasp
the fundamentals of these techniques and begin doing experiments with help
from others or by herself or himself. This is a two day course and can be taught at your
facility. Read feedback
from the course recently taught (careful the comments are
unedited….) and view some pictures taken during the course. Picture 1 Picture 2 |
