Congratulations to the New Officers for 1997
A Little Bit About The Officers:
President:
Del Mokma (mokma@pilot.msu.edu)
is a professor in the
Department of Crop and Soil Sciences
at Michigan State University. He is involved with the onsite waste
treatment research and demonstration project at Rose Hill. He is working
on the team that is planning the training center to be located on the Toll
Gate farm near Novi and will be one of the teachers. In the Soil
Resources course at MSU he teaches students to determine soil properties
in the field, to determine soil forming processes, and to relate these to
effects on land use.
President Elect:
Dan Milan represents Milan Supply Company. Wholesale supplier to the
Waterwell, Enviromental, and Onsite sewage markets. Coordinates technical
sales and market development. Serves on the following:
National Ground Water Assoc. (NGWA) Board of Dirctors
NGWA - Suppliers Division Chairman
Boy Scouts of America Troop 642, Committee Chairman
Vice President:
Dan Sandahl is a Michigan State University graduate having recieved a
Bachelor of science degree from the Natural Resources Dept. He has spent
two years doing postgraduate work in the Soil Science Dept. at MSU,
leaving in 1977 to work for a local health dept. in Ohio. He has spent 19
years working in Enviromental Health, 7 years in Ohio and the last 12
years for Mid-Michigan Dist. Health Dept.
Secretary/Treasure:
Gary Gildner (ggildner@tir.com)
is a 1977 graduate of Michigan Technology University. BS in Civil
Engineering. Has a consulting firm located in Metamora. Areas of
practice include, residential single family & multiple developments,
roadways, sanitary collection system, water distribution and onsite
wastewater disposal system.
