Dr. Peter Lillehoj and Dr. Chih-Ming Ho were awarded a $100,000 Grand Challenges Explorations grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation for innovative global health research to develop a SIM-card based biosensor for rapid malaira detection. The goal of the foundation’s Grand Challenges Explorations initiative is to help scientists around the world explore bold and unproven ways to improve health in developing countries.  Click on the images below for further reading.
