Grading Policy
A. Evaluated for the Team:
30% Laboratory Report
30% Research article for a peer-reviewed journal
B. Individually Scored:
25% Final Examination
In addition the following skills will also be scored individually.
10% Student initiated discussions of the experiments (engaged discussions about experimental design, execution, results, & report, lab records). If you are not actively planning and discussing your experiments with me on a weekly basis, that means you are lacking in these skills.
5% Lab etiquette, attendance, and team skills (This includes the way you interact and work together and `how often you are absent without prior permission)
Grades:
4.0: 90 and above
3.5: 85-89
3.0: 75-84
2.5: 60-74
2.0: 50-59
