System Requirements
FOCUS currently supports Linux kernel 2.4 or above, Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7.
At this time, we strongly recommend against using MATLAB R2008b on Unix-based systems. There are several unresolved issues with MATLAB R2008b that may prevent FOCUS from running.
Installation Instructions
Note to Windows users: Please make sure you have the appropriate Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 SP1 Redistributable Package (x86 or x64) installed for you computer, as these MEX files have been compiled using Visual Studio 2008.
- Download the appropriate file
- Unzip the file to a folder of your choice
- Add the folder to the MATLAB path

If you install the software and it doesn't work on your machine, please let us know so we can fix the problem in future versions.
