cw_intensity()
Description: This function is used to calculate the average intensity of a continuous-wave pressure field.
Usage
intensity = cw_intensity(pressure, medium);
intensity = cw_intensity(transducer, cg, medium, ndiv, f0);
Arguments
- pressure The CW pressure at each point in space in Pa.
- transducer A FOCUS transducer array.
- cg A FOCUS coordinate grid.
- medium A FOCUS medium.
- ndiv The number of integral points to use.
- f0 Frequency of the array in Hz.
Output Parameters
- intensity The average intensity in W/meter2 at each point in space given by the formula I = |p|^2⁄2 ρ c0.
