This fund was endowed by MSU Formula SAE Racing Team alumni in appreciation of "Doc" Cloud's 18 years of dedication and service as advisor to the team. Proceeds benefit team development and enhance the training of skilled engineers.

Biographical Data

Gary Lee Cloud, b. Muskegon County, Michigan, September 8, 1937;
Married Elizabeth Anne Fee, July 1972;
Children: Sarah Elizabeth b. 1975, Abigail Anne b. 1978.

Personal Interests

Music - studied voice privately for 20 years, perform regularly as soloist and ensemble member in opera, oratorio, chamber works, recitals, etc. Currently sing in semi-professional arts chorale and excellent church choir.

Sports - play squash, jogging, hunting, fishing, camping, competitive pistol shooting (IHMSA International Class in Unlimited, Production, and Revolver categories).

Study - study of psychology, philosophy, theology, World War II history, and related subjects.

Mechanical work - gunsmithing (hold Federal Firearms License), have own machine shop and wood shop, built house, restoring '62 MGA 1600 MkII and '29 Ford model A sedan (currently rather inactive in some of these areas). Restoring 1850's-vintage timber framed barn.
