  • Pavement Design - A one-week short course sponsored by the National Highway Authority, Ministry of Communication and the National University of Sciences and Technology, Islamabad, Pakistan, 1995.

  • Pavement Management - A 3-week short course sponsored by the Federal Highway Administration and several State Highway Agencies. The course was broadcasted via satellite and down loaded in several State Highway Agencies including Maine, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, South Dakota, Utah, Colorado, and Arizona (1993 - 1994).

  • Pavement Condition Index - The Remaining Service Life. A one-day short course sponsored by the Federal Highway Administration. The course was delivered to 23 State Highway Agencies (1992 to 1995).

  • Management of Flexible Highway Pavements - A 4-week short course sponsored by the World Bank and the Federal Highway Administration. The course was offered to engineers from 22 countries and 5 continents (1992).

  • Highway Pavements - A 4-week short course sponsored by the Federal Highway Administration. The course was offered 5 times to selected practicing engineers working for the Federal Highway Administration and State Highway Agencies, University faculty, and consulting engineers (1987-1991).

An Invited Lecture Delivered at the four-sessions (Washington, D.C.; Dallas, Texas; Denver, Colorado; Boston, Massachusetts; and Atlanta, Georgia) of the Advanced Pavement Management Course sponsored by the Federal Highway Administration (1988-1991).

  • "Assessment of the Remaining Service Life of the Pavement Infrastructures" an Invited Lecture that was Delivered at the National Quality Initiative Conference held in Monticello, New York; Minneapolis, Minnesota; Orlando, Florida; and Phoenix, Arizona.

  • "The Optimum Pavement Distress Index". An Invited Lecture that was Delivered to Engineers and managers of Various State Highway Agencies Including Colorado, Utah, Montana, Louisiana, Virginia, West Verginia, Missouri, Kansas, Maine, Vermont, and South Dakota.

  • "The AASHTO Design Guide for Tomorrow" An Invited Lecture Presented at the Pacific Rim Trans Tech Conference in Seattle, Washington.

  • The Development of MICHPAVE Mechanistic-Based Rut and Fatigue Prediction Models for Flexible Pavements. An invited presentation to the Transportation Research Board, Washington, D.C., 1996.

  • The Ultimate Pavement Condition Index - Remaining Service Life. A one-day short course materials developed and taught to engineers and managers from various State Highway Agencies and The Federal Highway Administration (1990-1994).

  • Pavement Management System - Links to Quality. Developed for the Federal Highway Administration as a part of the Advanced Pavement Management Course. The course was taught to practicing engineers from various State Highway Agencies, the Federal Highway Administration, and from over 20 other countries, (1988-1991).
