MSU Women in Computing organization attends the 2009 Grace Hopper Conference in Tuscon
Several women from the MSU Women in Computing organization
attended the 2009 Grace Hopper Conference in Tucson, Arizona.
Here is the personal story from one of the participants, Jessica Parks:
"Grace Hopper 2009 was one of the best experiences of my life. I got the
opportunity to talk with as well as interview with amazing companies
such as Microsoft and Amazon.com. I was able to get advice about career
and non-career related topics from women who have been in the Computer
Science field for years. They also held a workshop by Jo Miller that
went over many interesting topics such as “Your 30 second commercial”.
The best part about Grace Hopper 2009 was the networking opportunities
it presented." For more information on next year's conference, contact
