Congratulations to
Linsey Seitz, Senior in Chemical Engineering. She
was chosen as a national finalist in The Society of Women Engineers'
Collegiate Poster Competition. Linsey's poster, "CAMP Induced
Differentiation in Rat Mesenchymal Stem Cells." was developed from
research she conducted with Dr. Christina Chan, Professor in Chemical
Engineering and Materials Science and Linxia Zhang, a doctoral student
in Materials Science. Read

Dr. Alison
Cupples, Assistant Professor in the Department of
Civil and
Environmental Engineering, has been awarded a National Science
Foundation Grant. Her grant is titled "Stable Isotope Probing to Assess
Bioremediation of LUST Contaminants: Addressing Existing MTBE/BTEX and
Probable Future Ethanol/BTEX Contamination".
