2012 Walter Adams Advisor of the Year
Teresa VanderSloot, Advisor in the department of Computer Science, has been named 2012 Walter Adams Advisor of the Year for her a long history of serving students at MSU.
RCPD Outstanding Faculty and Staff Award
Trish Caldwell has recieved the Resource Center for Persons with Disabilities' 2012 Outstanding Faculty & Staff Award. This Award is in recognition of MSU Faculty/Staff who facilitate an environment of excellence by enhancing opportunities for success.

Barry M. Goldwater Scholarship:
Congratulations to Mairin Chesney, a sophomore Honors College member majoring in Computer Science who was named a 2012 Goldwater Scholar!
Congratulations to Megan Buczkowski, a junior Honors College member majoring in materials science and engineering for being recognized as honorable mention in the Goldwater Scholarship competition.
