I received my BE in Chemical Engineering from Vanderbilt University. After a stint designing groundwater remediation plants in the New York City area, I matriculated to University of California-Berkeley, where I received my PhD in Chemical Engineering in the lab of Doug Clark. I then took a post-doc position in the lab of David Baker at the University of Washington, where I developed an affinity for designing proteins.
When I'm not thinking about proteins you can find me reading, on a hike, or on a bicycle.
