Second year graduate assistant in the department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Michigan State University. Research at the Whitehead Lab is focused on protein design and metabolic pathway development. Graduated from the Chemistry department at the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point with a Bachelors of Science in Biochemistry in 2011. Previous research assignments entail an NSF-REU rotation at South Dakota State University under the supervision of Dr. Bill Gibbons. Other research assignments also include rotations under Dr. Eric Singsaas and Dr. Devinder Sandhu at the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point and Dr. Kevin Walker and Dr. A. Daniel Jones at Michigan State University.
