At the community meeting on March 7, TOSC suggested that interested citizens review the Responsible CareŽ program from the American Chemistry Council as a possible template in forming a local advisory committee. The Responsible CareŽ program has been successful in partnering industry and citizens to make progress toward the vision of no accidents, injuries or harm to the environment. Committees such as these provide a forum for local industry to listen and respond to public concerns, as well as, report on their environmental performance.
