‘Technology For Social Good’ receives Ford C3 grant

A service-learning project will create Java programs that gather data on local energy usage.
Computer Science senior Kaitlin Davis will lead a community-based student learning project chosen to receive $25,000 as part of the 2013 Ford College Community Challenge (Ford C3). MSU’s project is one of only nine in the nation selected for a Ford C3 grant this year. Ford Motor Company Fund will award a total of $225,000 in support of the growing trend of service learning on college campuses.
