Women in Computing workshop mentored girls in November

MSU continues to work to attract more female students into the employment-rich fields of computing.
High school girls created their own websites, games and animations during a Women in Computing technology workshop Nov. 16. The event was designed to attract more female students into the employment-rich fields of computing.

High school girls created their own websites, games and animations during a Women in Computing technology workshop at Michigan State University on Saturday, Nov. 16.

The event was designed to attract more female students into the employment-rich fields of computing, said Teresa Isela VanderSloot, academic adviser in the MSU Department of Computer Science and Engineering.
