Tim Whitehead wins NSF CAREER Grant

Asst. Professor Tim Whitehead has received a five-year $416,970 NSF CAREER award to support his work
Tim Whitehead, assistant professor of chemical engineering and materials science, and biosystems engineering, has received a National Science Foundation CAREER award. Funding from this five-year, $416,970 grant will support his work in programming the activity of proteins using computer-aided design and integration of next generation DNA sequencing data. He is the twelfth College of Engineering faculty member within the past four years to have been named an NSF CAREER Award winner.
