Get Involved

We couldn't succeed without the support of our community. Depending on your relationship to MSU, there are many ways for you to contribute. Any contribution would be a huge help to our endeavor. You would be supporting your state university, environmental awareness, and technological research.

As a Student

Self-motivated workers are always welcome to the team. Engineering knowledge is not required, but an eagerness to learn and contribute certainly is. We have plenty of work for anybody interested in contributing technical experience, working on public relations, organizing race logistics, driving race vehicles, or simply interested in a hands-on project. During the summer months, we have meetings at 7:00 on Tuesdays in Engineering Building 1234.

As a Sponsor

Sponsorship is an excellent way to contribute to our effort while promoting your company. We could use monetary donations and in-kind gifts. Solar racing is a unique event that easily draws people's curiosity. NASC includes numerous media stops, during which awareness is brought to the race, the teams, and the sponsors. If interested in sponsoring, please contact our Public Relations Officer Zach Puplis at puplisza@msu.edu.

As an Alumnus/Alumna

Show your appreciation for your Alma Mater and witness the cool new solar car project it has to offer. Monetary donations are always welcome. The better our funding, the more prepared our team can be to meet upcoming challenges. Anybody donating $500 or more is invited to Sponsorship Day next fall, where we will showcase our car (Brasidius) and you can meet the team. If interested in donating, you can contact our Public Relations Officer Zach Puplis at puplisza@msu.edu or follow the instructions under Sponsors/Donors -> How To Donate.

For NASC, we are also very interested in what alumni live along the race route. Anybody willing to lend the use of a machine shop or lodgings would be greatly appreciated. Just coming out and cheering for us helps, too. Visit Extra Features -> About NASC to see the race route.
