The Michigan State University Solar Car Racing Team is working to build an entirely solar-electric vehicle named Brasidius. This project serves as an example of what environmentally friendly technologies are available today. It provides students the opportunities to develop teamwork skills, be self-motivated, and pursue alternative energy technologies. The team is preparing the Formula Sun Grand Prix (FSGP) race event that will be taking place in Cresson, TX during the first week of June. Please explore our site to learn more about our team, our car, our plans, and how you can get involved!
Now you can donate online without the hassle of looking up the team on the MSU giving site. Just follow this link to the donation page, and the Solar Car Project will automatically be added to your gift cart. You will see the fund appear in the upper-right corner of the screen. Thanks for your support!
We're all down at Formula Sun Grand Prix! Today's the first day of the event. We'll be spending today and tomorrow going through the scrutineering process. Scrutineering is where the race officials inspect the car. We're all excited to be down here!
