Copnference Topics

The focus of the conference is on the behavior of structures under fire exposure, including the "art, science and practice of structural fire engineering", including the following topics:

• Fire and thermal models for fire resistance evaluation

• Numerical modeling of structures exposed to fire

• Simple calculation methods

• Experimental studies

• Material behavior at high temperature

• Practical applications and case studies

• Analysis of "whole structure" behavior

• Steel, concrete, masonry, timber, aluminum, and composite structures

Presentations, Posters and Papers

The presentations for the conference will be selected on the basis of the quality of the abstracts. Depending on the number of abstracts and the contents under each topic, some submissions may be invited to present as 'posters'. All accepted abstracts, both oral presentation and posters, will be invited to submit full papers, which will be published in the conference proceedings.
