The Student Engineering Council is hosting a blood drive for the American Red Cross.

Date: Thursday, Dec. 6th
Time: donations from 11:00 am- 5:00 pm, volunteering from 9a-6p
Location: In the Spartan Rooms of the International Center (inside the Crossroads Food Court)
Who: ANYONE can donate in your organization’s name, no matter their affiliation – just be sure they know which organization to write down after they’ve donated

DONORS
The Red Cross will be accepting walk-in donors, but it is more convenient to schedule an appointment online so there won’t be long lines to wait in. To do so:
~ visit http://www.redcrossblood.org/
~ in the upper right corner click “Make a Blood Donation Appointment”
~ enter the sponsor code “msu”
~ find the Dec. 6th blood drive to schedule the appointment
~ if you’re new to the site you’ll need to create a profile

VOLUNTEERS
We need volunteers to help staff this event!!

REGISTRATION (1 hr shifts; 11am-5pm)  – Helps register the donor at the beginning of the driveREFRESHMENT SERVER (1 hr shifts: 11am-5pm) – Offers snacks and refreshments after the donor has given blood.  Interacts with donors, keeps an eye for donors who may experience a post donation reaction, alerts Red Cross staff if someone is not feeling well.

UNLOADERS & RELOADERS (9 am unload, reload 5pm) – Helps Red Cross personnel set up and take down equipment and supplies.
