Paper Format
Authors must submit their papers electronically
via Web upload (follow the link on the bottom
of this page).
Submitted papers MUST BE in Portable Document Format (PDF)
format.
NO OTHER FILE FORMATS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
[Earlier versions of the Call for Papers listed Postscript as one
of the acceptable formats; this does NOT apply any more. On converting
Postscript to PDF, see instructions below.]
Six (6) camera-ready pages, including figures, are
allowed for each paper. A maximum of two (2) additional pages is
permitted at extra charge.
Papers should adhere to the standard IEEE double-column
format for conferences. The first page of the paper, centered on
the top below the top margin, should include the paper title, the
authors' names and their affiliations, an abstract, and keywords.
Use the sample
paper as a visual aid for formatting. Templates are available
below:

The most important elements of the
paper layout are:
1) Margin requirements: these must be strictly followed.
Papers cannot be accepted until proper margins are used.

The only accepted file format is Adobe's Portable
Document Format (PDF).
On conversion from Postscript to PDF...
Postscript files may be converted to PDF by using
Ghostview/Ghostcript
(free).
MS Word users can convert their papers to PDF by using http://createpdf.adobe.com.
This is a free service that can convert MS Word to PDF.
There are also several commercially available tools for converting
PS to PDF (e.g. Acrobat Distiller).
Paper upload
Papers must be submitted via Web
upload. Follow the link "Ready to submit paper" below
to enter the Web upload system. There you will find detailed instructions
on the submission procedure.
Please submit early to avoid the last minute
crunch.
NO OTHER MEANS OF PAPER SUBMISSION IS AVAILABLE.
SPECIFICALLY, DO NOT SEND PAPER SUBMISSIONS BY E-MAIL. SUCH
SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE TAKEN INTO CONSIDERATION.
