NOTE: The nominations
for the Award are closed.
The Anton Philips Best Student Paper
Award consists of a $1,000 check and an Award Certificate
(funds provided by Philips Corporation).
The rules of the contest are as follows:
- The student nominated for
the Award must be a member of the IEEE Robotics and Automation
Society.
- The student must be the
first author and primary developer of the idea.
- The student must have done
the work as part of an academic degree program.
- A nominating letter from
the student's faculty advisor should be sent to the Program Chair
at the time of submission. The letter should be written on university
letterhead, certifying that primary contributor(s) to the paper
was a (were) student(s) at the time of the paper's original submission.
The advisor's telephone, fax and e-mail information, as well as
the student(s) IEEE membership number(s), should be included.
