Phi Sigma Rho is a social sorority for women in engineering and engineering technologies. Abby McDonald and Rhasmi Khanna founded Phi Sigma Rho at Purdue University for women who are interested in being a part of greek life, but have demanding engineering schedules. The sorority was founded on September 24, 1984 based on a balance of sisterhood and academic success.
The MSU Alpha Delta Chapter of Phi Sigma Rho was initiated on December 1, 2012 with 40members. Our membership has grew as of January 26, 2014 when the MSU Alpha Delta Chapter inducted the Epsilon class. We are looking towards the future of continuing to reach out to our women engineers.
