Research Biography

Dr. Lee's research is primarily focused toward areas needed to develop, update and teach the Michigan State University series of accident investigation/reconstruction training programs. Currently, there are 18 different Accident Investigation training programs that cover very basic accident investigation techniques to advanced levels of using computer analysis to determine speed, principle direction of thrust, Delta V, damaged vehicle profiles etc. These courses are offered throughout the state of Michigan to police officers, traffic engineers, lawyers, reconstructionist, insurance representatives and other corporate entities.
