The College of Engineering at Michigan State University consists of a diverse 162 faculty members across six departments, nine undergraduate degree programs, and nine graduate degree programs. They are valued for leadership and teaching abilities, as well as extensive knowledge throughout engineering and technological fields.

Almost all faculty teach undergraduate courses, and there are currently 453 active research grants within the college. 

With a talented faculty and staff behind them, there are 2,812 Undergraduate Students in the Collegeof Engineering, many of whom are on the Dean's List. With 189 Graduate Students and 394 PhD Students, the college is occupied by a group of able-bodied staff and students.
