Wesley G. Carlosh

Wesley G. Carlosh (BS CHEM EGR '46), Blue Bell, Penn., died Jan. 20. He was 92.

He was born on June 27, 1923, to John and Mary Carlosh in Remsen, N.Y.

He was valedictorian of his graduating class at Remsen High School in New York and entered Michigan State University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering in 1946.

He married Rita Bernice Griggs in 1947 and moved to Blue Bell, Penn., from Akron, Ohio, in 1959.

Carlosh worked for 64 years. He was employed by BF Goodrich for 40 years. After retiring from BF Goodrich, he was employed by Mayron Research Labs of Hatfield, Penn. for 16 years. He retired in 2010 and moved to Brightview Senior in East Norriton, Penn.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Rita; a brother, John; and his sister, Helen. He is survived by a loving collection of nephews and nieces.

Funeral services were conducted on Jan. 26 at the Kirk and Nice Funeral Home, 80 Stenton Ave., Plymouth Meeting, Penn. Entombment was at George Washington Memorial Park.
