Roger A. Conrad

Roger A. Conrad (BS CIV EGR ’67), Lansing, Michigan, died Nov. 27, 2017. He was 73.

He was born in Flint on Sept. 12, 1944, the son of Harry L. "Bud" Conrad, Jr. and Elaine F. (Knierer) Conrad. 

He worked for The Christman Co., starting at the age of 18 as a field worker while attending MSU. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in civil engineering in 1967.

He continued with the company as an owner and conceptual estimator until his retirement in 2001. 

He played an active role with the Michigan Concrete Association, where he served as a certification testing instructor. He was a supporter of MSU and active with the CROP Walk, volunteered his services as a Certified Civil Engineer, was a member of the Kiwanis Club of Lansing, and The Turner Dodge Board of Directors. 

Services were Dec. 2 at the First Presbyterian Church in Lansing.
