Frank E. Caruso

Frank E. Caruso (BS ELEC EGR ’55), West Long Branch, N.J., died July 29, 2015, in West Long Branch. He was 83.

He was born in Lansing, Mich. 

He received a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Michigan State University in 1955. 

Caruso worked as an electronic engineer at Fort Monmouth in the Hexagon Building and Camp Evans area until his retirement in 1991. He developed three patents for electronic inventions.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia; children Sharon (James) Jemas, Perry (Jing), Carol, and Jerry (Amy), four grandchildren, his brother, Joseph (Helen), sister, Arlene Dodge, and many nieces and nephews. 

He was predeceased in death by his parents, Nicholas and Julia.

Services were Aug. 4 at St. Jerome Church, 254 Wall Street, West Long Branch, with burial at Glenwood Cemetery. 

Arrangements were by the Fiore Funeral Home, 236 Monmouth Road, Oakhurst.
