Bob Kerner (BS Elec Egr ‘96, BS Computer Egr ‘96) was named executive vice president of global operations at Globant, Jan. 14, 2014. He will be in charge of managing Globant's operations team, supervising its delivery processes, operations governance and client satisfaction.
Kerner joins Globant from Euronext, where he served as the chief digital officer. In that role, he was responsible for developing the company's digital strategy and implementing an agile culture to support this approach. Prior to that, he served as chief architect for AOL, where he built large-scale, high-volume systems. He also worked at Lockheed Martin designing state-of-the-art navigation and combat systems for nuclear submarines.
Trained as an engineer, he has focused his entire career on bringing innovation to organizations from a wide variety of sectors. He earned dual bachelor's degrees in electrical engineering and computer engineering from Michigan State University and a master’s degree in electrical engineering from George Washington University.
