The SearchLite was formed in 2013 with the goal of helping inventors and entrepreneurs commercialize their inventions and startup solutions.  The SearchLite focuses on Customer Discovery and Market Validation.  We therefore spent most of our first year eating our own dog food!  We conducted over 100 Customer Discovery Interviews with Inventors, Entrepreneurs, University Tech Transfer Offices, Business Accelerators, Angel & VC Investors and Corporate Growth Leaders.  The result was the generation of a business model and value proposition that helps our clients quickly understand who cares about their solution and why. The primary service offering of The SearchLite is called a Market Discovery Challenge.  The Market Discovery Challenge is a four week iterative deepening process which integrates key findings from phone interviews, secondary research and on-line engagement.  Market Discovery Challenge concludes guidance for the inventor or startup as to their best-fit market opportunities and the technology adoption dynamics which will be important to their first customers.
