2. Follow the PIN
link (See
figure 1) to get to the Pin Wizard. You can
perform the following actions from Pin wizard:
Check if you already have a PIN on
the system. Click on "Next" button next
to the option: "Find your own or someone
else's PIN"; enter the Surname => Submit to
see your PIN. If multiple users with same
surname exist, they will all be displayed
along with the PIN. Please locate and save
your PIN
Retrieve your password. Click on "Next"
button next to the option: "Retrieve your
password" => Enter your PIN, recovered in
previous step => Send. Your account
information will be sent to the email
address in the database.
Create a new PIN (See
figure 2). If you do not have an account
in the system, Click on "Next" button next
to the option: "Register
a new PIN" => Fill out the form =>
Submit. Your account information will be
sent to the email address you entered. Note
that when you log in, you will be asked to
verify your account information.
Update your account information. If you
know your PIN and password, you can update
your personal information by following
"Next" button next to the option:
"Update
your personal information".
When you first login or eachtime your account
information such as keywords, address, etc are
changed, you will see the following at the top of
your login page:
You must scroll to the bottom, confirm the
information and then click on the Login link in the
green box.
Step 3: Upload your abstract to "Contributed
papers"
For completeness, you should have
the following information/files in your possession
when you are ready to upload your manuscript:
PINs of all co-authors of the paper
Title
Abstract in plain-text
Manuscript in PDF format (compliant with
IEEE PDF requirements). Specifically, all fonts
must be embedded/subsetted, additionally, for
uniformity paper size should US Letter, you can
download LaTeX class file or MS-Word sample file
by following the Support
link from http://nano.papercept.net
(Optionally) A video clip (under 10M) in
mpeg format
To submit your manuscript, follow these steps
(make sure that JavaScript is
enabled in your browser settings):
2. Follow the
NMDC Late news paper link. You "should not login" for
initial submission.
3. Click on Submit
link in the same line as "Contributed paper".
4. In the submission form on the next page
Type/Paste manuscript title
Type in number authors on the paper =>
Go, this will open up appropriate number of
boxes to put co-author PINs
Type in one PIN in each box. Designate
one author as "Corresponding author".
Only the corresponding
author can make updates (reupload the PDF
file) to the paper.
Click on "Go" button to select
conference designated Keywords. Select up to
three keywords. The keyword in "first"
column will be used to classify your paper.
Once you have selected your keywords, they
will appear in the yello pop-up box. Click Submit to confirm
your keywords. Once the
paper has been submitted - you cannot change
keywords, you will have to ask conference
chair to change them, so please choose your
keywords carefully.
Type/Paste text only abstract. Note that
HTML markup or (La)TeX is "not" supported.
This must be plain text.
Read the Commitment statement and check
the I agree checkbox.
Click on "Verify" button. The page will
reupload. Check all entered information for
accuracy. Updated as needed.
Assuming you have already tested your
PDF files for compliance, scroll down to
"File upload section". Locate and select
your PDF files by following "Browse" button.
You may "optionally" include a video
file to demonstrate your results.
If you do not upload a
video file at the initial submission stage,
you "will not" be able to upload video file
to accompany your paper at the final
submission stage.
Click on "Submit" button to upload file.
Please be patient, upload can take some
time.
