Laura Luptowski Seeley is the director of publications and media relations for the College of Engineering. Her responsibilities include writing content for the college's publications and news site; producing several print and online publications; directing the publication of department newsletters; and handling media relations. Laura has been with the College of Engineering since October 2000. Upon joining the college, her first major achievement was the development of a new publication: Currents Magazine. Prior to that, she spent eight years as manager of the journals program at MSU Press, where she helped launch the creative nonfiction journal, Fourth Genre. She has been published in numerous newspapers and magazines over the years, including The Bay City Times, Lansing City Magazine, MSU's Natural Science Magazine, and Equus. She also initiated and wrote a monthly humor column for an Arabian horse publication for five years.  Francie Todd Director of Marketing |
Francie Todd is the director of marketing for the College of Engineering. She serves as marketing communications consultant to the exectuive staff of the college and is responsible for marketing and strategic communication planning and development, and public relations consultation. She also assists with news and feature writing, and online content development. She has more than 25 years of experience in communication management, including more than 10 years as communications manager for the MSU College of Agriculture and Natrual resources and 13 years as communications manager for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan and its HMO subsidiary, Blue Care Network. She holds a BA in advertising from MSU. She joined the MSU College of Engineering in June 2010. 3415 Engineering Building (Map) |
