Meet the Staff
| Laura has been with the College of Engineering since October 2000. Prior to that, she spent eight years as manager of the journals program at MSU Press, where she helped launch the new creative nonfiction journal Fourth Genre. She has also been published in a number of newspapers and magazines, including Lansing City Magazine, MSU's Natural Science Magazine, and Equus. She also wrote a monthly humor column for an Arabian horse publication for five years. Laura received her B.A. in journalism from Michigan State University. 3412 Engineering Building (Map) |
Lynn has bachelor's degrees in Audiology and Speech Pathology and French and a master's degree in Linguistics, all earned at MSU. An MSU employee since 1989, she was an editor for the NEM Online project for three years, creating and maintaining Web pages, editing records for an online database, and preparing quarterly reports. The Network for Excellence in Manufacturing Online was a project of the Vice Provost's Office for Libraries, Computing, and Technology, the College of Business, and the College of Engineering. She recently worked at the MSU Press, editing and managing the publication of several academic journals. She has also produced newsletters and edited books and other documents for MSU faculty members on a free-lance basis. 3412 Engineering Building (Map) | |
| Lynda is responsible for the marketing direction and activities of the college. She has over 25 years experience in marketing. Lynda was a Senior Account Executive at AAA Michigan responsible for marketing insurance and membership and was Account Director at Campbell–Ewald on the Continental Airlines account. Most recently, she consulted with businesses in Michigan providing marketing strategic direction, brand building and public relations support. Lynda is active locally as a board member for Impression 5 Science Center and fund raising for EVE’s Inc. She also serves as liaison to University Relations. 3415 Engineering Building (Map) |
