"Extreme Makeover" Viewing at the Breslin Center Nov. 30

October 8, 2008

The owners of Lansing-based Mayberry Homes invite the community to watch the Nov. 30 episode of ABC's "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" on a big screen together at the Breslin Center. Both parking and admission are free. This episode of the popular TV show features a home built by the Lansing community for the Nickless family. The exact starting time of the community event will be announced soon, but it's expected to be about 7:00 p.m.

Engineering faculty and students helped design a room for this new house in nearby Holt, Mich. Faculty members Leo Kempel and Tim Hogan, with support from numerous other faculty, staff, and students, logged many late hours pitching in to build a room for the oldest son, Aaron, who is interested in electrical engineering.

The film crew visited the College of Engineering Thursday, October 2, to tape a segment.

The show will air Sunday, November 30, at 8:00/7:00 p.m. This is your chance to see the room the Spartan Engineers built.
