Solving Big Issues Using “Small” Technologies
As the new century unfolds, the issues of energy, environment, and safety are becoming more and more critical for the health, wealth, and security of humankind. Demands are growing in the areas of energy conservation and the creation of alternative and new energy sources, such as hybrid systems and fuel cell systems. We believe that the amazing advancement in the fields of robotics, automation, and micro-/nanotechnology having been achieved over the past 50 years will bring growing impact to these big issues in the new century.
