So they say time flies when you’re having fun or something like that, and let me tell you, they weren’t lying. It’s unbelievable that we have been here for almost two and a half weeks already. I will say that the experiences that I have had in these past weeks on the other side of the world have been absolutely amazing. Nothing back home could ever compare to the things that we have seen here.

Pavel's Update

1. Reconstruction codes for 2D tomography, specifically the C++ codes for solver are being worked upon. Got some good initial inputs from Kavitha  (Dr. Kavitha Arunachalam, Asst. Professor, IIT-M)
2. Setting up 2D scanning system for free space measurements for property measurements of dielectric and other materials.
3. Running some patch antenna simulations for antenna array for the microwave tomography project.
4. Looking for ways to create solid tissue phantoms for experiments on the Brain project

This past week has been a busy one for MSUs IIT interns.
