James I. (Jim) Ebert () E-mail: jebert@ebert.com From: Albuquerque NM Added: Saturday, March 15, 2003 1:04 AM Comments: I'm Ian O. Ebert's son, and I'm 55 years old now, living in Albuquerque NM and doing odd things of my own (see www.ebert.com). My Dad loved W8SH (The Ham Club), where I spent a lot of time (mostly when it was up in the tower at the old EE building). I remember fooling with things like a mechanical, clock-wound morse code sender, various kinds of bugs, and the like and getting my novice license, although when I got out of high school I didn't pursue being a ham. I may get back into it one day soon. I keep thinking what fun Dad would have now when everything runs with computers (rather than vacuum tubes). Send off a message for him now and again (only in Morse code, though). Best, Jim |
